I was thinking about getting a new cam, most likely from ZZP. What kind of mileage do you guys get with the GT1 and GT2 cam? Seems like it is a favorite around here. I get 25 hwy/ 20 city and I don't want it to get that much worse. I understand power comes at a cost, but I just want to quantify it a little.
Btw, I alrady have a lsd w/ 3.08 gears, flowmaster catback exhaust, whisper ram air intake, whisper air lid, and plan on getting some headers soon and a high flow cat.
I'm probably getting around 20mpg over all now. My 3.08 gears are probably hurting my mileage more than anything now because the GT2 cam doesn't make that much low end power. I really do need to buy HP Tuners and get my 3.42/posi installed.
If you're worried about mileage, do not build your engine. Stick to bolt ons.
