• 2000+ PCM on a 99 model

Is it possible to put a 2000+ PCM in my 99 camaro?
I've a M5 camaro, is there a special PCM for Manual and for automatic?

My 1999 was programed with a 2000 VIN for my gear swap to correct the speedo. So that would lead me to believe that you might be able to to however I am not sure. I also programmed my A4 with an A4 VIN, so not sure if there is a difference there or not.

I am sure Maggie-Poo can tell you.

I want to do that way because hypertech doesn't work with our 1999 PCM, is it a good idea?

Why waste money on a HPP3 now that there is HPTuners? You can do everything you can with HPP3 and so much more with it.

Save your money and get HPTuners instead of HPP3.

Good point. By the time you buy hpp3, and a pcm, you probably could have bought the hptuners sw.

Unless you just get a killer deal on an hpp3.

If you swap pcm's, you will want one for an manual.

I've been meaning to ask this but I always forget to.

Is there any difference between your camaro and one sold in the states, or is your camaro imported from the states(as in, not one originally sold in europe)?

I think I answered my own question when I read your site.

Thats pretty cool you got the Trans Am seats... those are much better then Camaro seats, however I think I'd have to do something about those mirrors and rear bumper.

Good looking car... kinda cool seeing it with Euro license plates like that. :D
