Stock retainers are fine for LS6. A fact I know and enjoy.
HPP3 93 octane powertune works good with 1.9 rockers. They are a mod that works with stock tuning. I could tell the difference when changing from the 93 octane power tune to no power tune and back. They are not as major a mod as a cam...no change in duration or ramp, so can not compare along those lines, however.
Most cams are recommended to get special tuning...even if the literature for cam says it works with stock pcm tune...it seems.
HPP3 Powertune with rockers good...noticable.

Don't use the powertune anymore since supercharger went on but the above describes my experience with the HPP3 93 octane powertune.Comment
