Durind a complete enging rebuild (in progress), I discovered a rod that was slightly bent. An engine shop said that the 3.4 engine has a factory defect and that one of the intake bolts passes through the water jacket and sometimes allows water to enter the cyllinder. Anyone heard this before? (And who sells aftermarket rods for this car?)

2 Questions:
1) What kind of modification has to be done to the rod?
2)I am a distributor for Manley and I was looking at their catalog. They list a connecting rod with a -small journal size and a -large journal size. I am assuming that we would use the small one, but does anyone know for sure?- Josh
If you have any questions or need installation pics/help, e-mail me: Viper98885@aol.com
\'93 Camaro Hardtop
\'01 Lincoln LS8 Sport
\'00 Yamaha YZF-R6
Full Throttle Performance
