Alright guys i have Four major questions. One does porting and polishing your heads effect gas milage in a posative or negative way. I always you lost gas millage with it but my friend told me the oposite.
Next if I p&p my heads do I need to get the intake mani. ported and polished also?
next would i need a custom head gasket to go with the p&p?
and finaly can you guys give me a couple of suggestions to where i could get it done.
Thanks
Scott

"One does porting and polishing your heads effect gas milage in a posative or negative way."
It all depends on how you drive the car. It will increase fuel effeciency, but if you drive it like you stole it so that you can feel the power gains, you won't get better gas mileage.
"Next if I p&p my heads do I need to get the intake mani. ported and polished also?"
You don't NEED to, but it's a good idea. You want ot make the path of the incoming air and fuel as smooth as possible. If you do the heads but not the intakes, you aren't really getting yourself anywhere. Plus, if you do all of it at one time by the same machinist, they can match port everything to make it as smooth as possible.
"next would i need a custom head gasket to go with the p&p?"
No, you would NOT need custom gaskets.
"can you guys give me a couple of suggestions to where i could get it done."
We at FTPP.NET offer these heads and intake sets. Feel free to contact me about your options on the setup.
