They actually sell a lot of F-body parts. I've come close to driving up to Bristol PA a couple times to pick out an LS1. They always have 3 or 4 LS1's or LT1's for sale.
If anyone is looking, I'll vouch for the sellers. I only live 15-20 mins away from Contemporary Corvette (name of their yard). They have a huge yard, but they don't let people walk through to pull parts anymore :(
