Will these heads work on the L32 3.4 and are there any performance gains

    gmpartsdirect.com p/n 25500030

description : The aluminum Stage II cylinder head is a light alloy head with rectangular intake ports and square exhaust ports. 100 valve angles, unfinished seats for 2.02" diameter intake valves and 1.60" exhaust valves are installed. This uses 3/4" tapered seat spark plugs. Comes without valve guides installed. Technical Notes: Stage II aluminum heads use the six bolt pattern found on Stage II blocks which require longer studs and are available from aftermarket sources. Requires rocker cover P/N 25500122, rocker cover gasket P/N 25500175, intake gasket P/N 25500173, exhaust gasket P/N 25500174, and intake P/N 25500029 or P/N 25500170

I was about to post an edit as i saw it uses a 6 bolt pattern and the L32 is an 8 bolt pattern. Who makes aluminum heads for the L32 and is a 60 degree v-6 the same as an L32?

the L32 is a 60* V6 engine. L32 = engine code from GM for the 3.4L OHV engine that rests in the f-body engine bay.

if you want aluminum heads, you can use the aluminum heads off of the Grand Am/Alero/Impala..etc etc...dubbed the Gen III Aluminum heads. however to use these, quite a bit of fabrication is involved as i am finding out. its taking some time.

im keeping everyone posted of my progress in a thread titled "So swapping out the top end of a 3.4 to a 3400 is not easy..."

          just read in there.

no fab. on the heads or upper intake. have to slightly port/polish the exhaust manifolds to re-use them. if you have headers, have to have a new flange made to fit the new exhaust gasket (the ports are HUGE)

had to relocate the EGR as well. hoping i pass SMOG. read all about it in the post i told ya bout.
