• Regrind Cam specs.

I am getting a CROWER regrind now. Lets talk specs. I was thinking about 214/214 500/500 112LS 108IC. What do you think about that? I also thought about Ironman's cam 210/214 with some more lift somewhere around 500/500 and 112 LS.

Throw me some numbers. I want the most lift they can put on the regrind. I believe its around 500/500 but what durations.

DONT EVEN MENTION A COMPCAM.

218/212 111 LSA
220/224 110 LSA

Depends if you want to try reverse split or not. But it will backfire like a mofo.

Thats alot of duration. LS is kinda big too. Looks kinda like a Cam for a V8.

You said you wanted big. Bluecmro96 has a 220/224 on a 114 LSA for nitrous.

Yeah man, I'd stick with something around 112 LSA.

I'm not going anymore than 212 intake duration and 216 exhaust duration. A lot of people want to make as much power as conceivably possible, but I would rather maximize power while still keeping my driveability. Just don't over do it with getting the biggest cam you can. You'd probably regret it unless your car was strickly a track car.

I think I still like the 214/214 for a regrind.

If you're going straight cut I think a 206-210 is plenty of duration at 0.5" lift.

bluecmaro has a COMP cam.. faster ramps less overlap... btw does his car run yet? How's it idle?

I think a 214/214 regrind will be good. It will lope like crazy.

He still doesn't have it completely together, but i am hounding his A$$ to get it going.

I sure love crower for the regrinds. I'm going to do 2 tests with them, post dyno graphs, then get a Comp based on the best results. Yes of course i will tune with the MAFT+. Maybe by that time the PCM programming will be ready.
