I have a 2002 v6 camaro and am thinking about puting a ls1 in it. Other than the engine, transmission, clutch, and mounts, what else will i need? Will the stock drive shaft and rear end be fine, or does that need to be changed to?

This is outside of my area of expertise, but if you're gonna swap the engine, you should do the entire driveline unless you have a Y87. (I think the 4L60E auto tranny is actually the same, but everything else probably should go.)
If you search the Google, you should be able to find at lease one swap that outlines the process. The one I read actually just lowered 3800 engine from the car and rolled in the engine subframe assembly from a wrecked Z28. (And yes, I said lowered. Our engines, tranny, and front suspension all sit on a subassembly that comes out from the bottom of the car as one unit.)
They had to do a bit of hacking to get the V8 ecm to communicate with the rest of the car and they weren't able get the tach to register the right engine revs. I think they also upgraded the fuel pump. I don't know if the 2002s have the same 2-piece driveshaft thats standard in the earlier years, but they ditched theirs and the rear gears just out of principle. (Just think about it. Do you really want all that power making its way to the ground through a week 2-piece shaft and an open diff? You'd have to change your handle to pegleg-all-day.) :D Anyway, if you're going through all this trouble anyway, you might as well say the heck with it and throw in an aluminum driveshaft.
If your car is a Y87, your rear end should be ok because you already have all the all the Z28 goodies in it, unless you want to go to a higher gear ratio that is.1997 Camaro, Y87 Perf. Not sure. One of the guys on another thread mentioned that there were some f-fody salvage yards that offered upgrade kits. Maybe you should do a search for that.1997 Camaro, Y87 Perf.
