What type of performance differences does it make whether you use flat, dish, or dome top pistons. Are there advantages and disagvantages to each? What type is best for max power on a 3.4?

Mainly they're used to increase/decrease compression without changing rod length or deck height.

I have Ross flat tops in mine and I run 93 octane sometimes...usually it's 110 or 112 race gas. (I don't drive the car much anymore.)
