If I need more power at partial throttle, I'll give it more throttle. When I need more and hit WOT, EGR shuts off, sounds fine to me. Keeps me from pinging too. Doesn't bother me much at all, one of the few pollution controls that works ok. If I end up getting a cam with lots of overlap though, I will remove it.
