  • roller rockers worth it???

I have been doing some research on cams. I think I have decided to get the comp cam 200/206 grind. I am going to replace the valve springs with some 105# comp cam springs. I was wondering if it is worth getting roller rockers. No increase in ratio, still 1.6, and I was wondering if it was worth the $400 they cost. What do you guys think? Also, do i have to get new retainers with the new springs?

Not worth it at all. We already great rockers, they only lack the roller tip. I wouldn't do it.
I would run stock or stock style (ls1, ls6) valve springs instead of the comp springs. That cam is mild enough for stock springs easily.

would the stock springs last forever? cause i want to do this and never think about it again. would a small step up in springs be a good idea? cause i saw some comp cam 90# springs, would that be a good idea? (i think i saw somewhere that the stock v6 springs were ~60#)
