I have been doing some research on cams. I think I have decided to get the comp cam 200/206 grind. I am going to replace the valve springs with some 105# comp cam springs. I was wondering if it is worth getting roller rockers. No increase in ratio, still 1.6, and I was wondering if it was worth the $400 they cost. What do you guys think? Also, do i have to get new retainers with the new springs?

Not worth it at all. We already great rockers, they only lack the roller tip. I wouldn't do it.
I would run stock or stock style (ls1, ls6) valve springs instead of the comp springs. That cam is mild enough for stock springs easily.1997 Chevrolet Camaro v6 - 13.8@104MPH

would the stock springs last forever? cause i want to do this and never think about it again. would a small step up in springs be a good idea? cause i saw some comp cam 90# springs, would that be a good idea?
