AutoTap does not change anything. It only allows you to read.
The MAF Translator+ won't be very beneficial if you don't have any major mods. Its recommended that you use some kind of scantool software (AutoTap, OBD II, etc..) to monitor the changes you do with the MAFT or MAFT+.

I'm selling my OBD II (which is the same as AutoTap) hardware cheap if your interested.

ok, so auto tap doesnt allow you to change your timing and all that stuff. I have a laptop, I thought that you could change several settings, and if i purchased the MAF+ then i could do even more. So auto tap is more of a monitering device?

Correct, AutoTap monitors using a computer/laptop, and MAFT+ is a little box, with dials, that you splice into the sensors.

FYI AutoTap costs over $200, I'm selling my OBD II for just $100 shipped (new $122). I really need to sell it cause I'm at college now. OBD II is the same as AutoTap, just the AutoTap user interface is supposedly a little easier.

the o2 sim plugs into the place where you o2 sensor plugs in you can see a cord running from the pipe up to the chassis
