Well the enigne is almost all put back together. I stripped some threads so that is my hold up right now. I had to replace my bearings, get my crankshaft turned, and straightend. All my gaskets have been replaced and I am ready to drop it in almost...

I am going to consider myself a mechanic after this is complete...

I think we decided on the OIL pump. He drove it around for a while with very little or no oil pressure. At least thats how it was when I was driving it. Pressure was in the red right by 0 when I was driving it and that was right before it broke down.

I think I lost the tolerence in my oil pump gears. My oil pressure was a sporadic thing. I spun my number 2 con-rod bearing and scared up my journal on the crankshaft. Well in doing that it let to much play in my con-rod and it beat the sh** out of my crankshaft and bent it .08"...

So after this I hope I fixed the right problem. I did get a shot of my oil pump. Its not much but I will see if I can get it up for you guys.

I think I found my problem. Well another problem at that. I had a bad oil pressure regulator valve. It sits in between the oil filter adapter and the timing chain cover. During my intiail rebuild this should have popped out since it is spring loaded. It didnt. But I have replaced the part now and and I am packing the oil pump with vasoline and should have it up by the end of the week.
