even though the peak hp will be past my rev limiter wont it still make good hp i was told if i run a msd i could burn up the extra fuel and pass emissions??

Just because you make peak power higher in the RPM band doesn't mean your entire RPM band has more power. The lower RPM's will actually lose more power.
You'd be better off with a cam that peaks around 5200-5500 is your rev limiter is 6000.
