  • is 93 ECM memcal?

just like the topic says, are the 1993 ECM/PCM's memcal (removable EEPROM chip) or the retarded Flash Rom in the 94-95 ECM/PCM's.

just curious cause I'm tracking down programming possibilities, and this would be an easier alternative.

    thanks.

Yes the 93 uses an EEPROM chip. It's not flashable like the 94/95.

so now that we've established that...

anyone have a 1993 ECM Bin #? (its the wierd combination of letters on the ECM - like, for the 94 ECM, the bin # is BJBH - its on the sticker on the ECM -- like... bottom right hand of it if i remember (the letters are on the bottom right of the ECM sticker))

        thanks.
