93V6, when your oil looks like chocolate milk, that is because coolant is mixing in with the oil (opposite of what is happening in this case) and that means usually indicates a ed block...where as a ed head (or head gaskets would cause the reverse - oil in the coolant)

Coolant is very abrassive. When coolant gets inbetween the bearings it wears them down FAST. There is NO protection.

If you are lucky enough to catch it quickly, the wear will be minimal, but there will still be excess wear. It may last a few days/months, if you are LUCKY years... its a gamble.

why dont you do a simple compression test? that will tell you what is wrong and if the oil is in the coolant wouldnt the coolant be in the combustion chamber and be blowing smoke out the tail pipe? oil in the coolant and not in the combustion chamber sounds like it could be a cracked block. I dont know I am just thinking. hope you figure it out. good luck.

It is possible to have trans fluid IN the antifreeze, since the trans cooler and radiator are all 1 unit. The trans cooler could be leaking internally. Had to change a radiator in an S-10 not too long ago that had that problem.

Thats just something else to look at if they said that theyve done tests and neither have pointed to a headgasket. It could have a cracked block but the compression test would probably tell you that. Its pretty hard to tell what is in the Antifreeze since trans fluid and oil would look pretty much the same.

I also do not see how the front seal being bad would allow oil into the antifreeze. The front seal would be the seal thats around the crank holding IN oil right?Sounds to me like youve got a leaky seal and they just wanna jack you out of some money to fix it.

Do a compression test on the radiator if youre losing pressure youve got a leak. Not necasarily a leak to the outside but it could have an internal leak.
