Sure, if your going to mount it outside of the cockpit, like under the hood or on the wiper cowling.
You cannot have a mechanical gauge in the car because that requires the fuel to be hooked directly to it. yea, what sucks is that you need to use an electrical one in the cockpit cause hes right, you cant have fuel run into the car. and the electrical ones are a $$$$$$$$$$$$$.

I found mine used Ultra-Lite Autometer 2 1/16" 1-100psi Electric Fuel pressure gauge with sending unit for like $65 shipped- the deals are out there you just need to search.

k, if you have no leaks, which you shouldn't anyway, who cares if you have a mechanical fuel gage in the cockpit? will the tracks in the usa not allow that?

Its a matter of fumes anyway. Just trust everyone on this and mount the mechanicals outside, electrics inside. Go back to summit and get the nordskog digital fuel press gauge and sender. I think it is about $60 for the pair.
I have that setup and I like it a lot. The electric sender mounts on the scrader valve boss on the fuel injector rail.
