  • Compression test problems

I followed the very simple instructions of warming the car up and taking the fuses out for the appropriate year. I go to turn the car over to check the compression and nothing. So is it an electrical problem or what I am baffled I'm going to go and put the plugs back in and see if the car starts.

did you remove all the spark-plugs, and block the throttle "wide-open"?

Ok, the car starts so it looks like I'll just un plg the fuel pump harness and try it that way but I'm still wondering is this an electrical problem?

Yes I did but it would not even turn over with those fuses out and it should have done that.

I think "to turn it over"---means to hand crank-it.
correct me if i'm wrong ;)

Nope, use the starter. Cranking over by hand would give the gases too much time to leak past the rings.

Sounds like you just pulled the wrong fuse.
