wait for 3.42 LSD recalibration?

so im having the gears installed on wednesday..however..it may be a week..maybe even 2 weeks..before i can get out to my mothers to recalibrate for the ratio change..i have to get my car and computer over there (i dont have a lap top)..so my question is..will i be fine just normal driving..normal speeds (no racing) until i recalibrate for the gears for a couple weeks tops? [img]smile.gif[/img]

I drove without being recalibrated from march until like a week ago, so that's like 8 1/2 months. You're odometer will rack up a few extra miles, and the tranny will shift a few hundred rpms before your normal shiftpoints, but it wont cause any problems. My biggest thing is that I probably have like 500 miles on my odometer that my car didnt really go since it wasnt calibrated. Your speedometer will probably be off by about 10%

excellent..cuz otherwise i gotta haul all my computer sh*t up to my mothers garage to do the gears..and again for the injectors (im gonna see if i can get them installed in the same appointment though) ...or have to leavee the computer there or something...id rather just go once and do the whole job...thanks guys!
