    -cam GEAR... 6 o'clock
    -crank shaft sensor.1 o'clock
    ...correct if i'm wrong
    The timing marks on the cam and crank gears should line up. Then, you put the timing cover back on and the water pump, etc and then you can use the mark on the harmonic balancer to find your TDC position. The crankshaft sensor is at about the 1 o'clock mark. Line that up with the notch on the harmonic balancer and you are at TDC or BDC depending on whether you are on the firing stroke or not.
