INTENSE standard .BIN file

intense says on their site (intense-racing.com) that they cant quote how much of a difference you'll notice with their standard .BIN file for the PCM ...my naturally aspirated mods are basically:

functional ram air hood
hollow cat
borla cat back exhaust
3.42 LSD

PCM mods with the standard file include:

Ideal for stock to slightly modded cars with induction mods, exhaust mods, smaller supercharger pulley and/or rocker arms - features speed limiter removal, slightly higher shift points (~6,000 RPM)** and rev limiter (6,200 RPM) , proprietary transaxle shift behavior adjustments**, air/fuel adjustments, automatic ignition timing adjustments (+3°), knock retard decay rate adjustment, cooling fan control adjustments (180°), cooling fans on at key-off for 180 seconds, will require the use of premium fuel.

...does anybody have this file?...can anybody provide a ball-park gain that id see with my mods?...id really like to at least get an idea before i spend my money on it..thanks! [img]smile.gif[/img]

I have the stage 1, not the standard. Mine makes a hell of a difference though. The car has a lot more torque, and it has lots of timing added in.

nice...i figured thats the one you have because of your cam...i just ordered the standard...then im just going to set the timing to stock when i track race and use nitrous...the gears put me at 15.58 (and i probably coulda done better..only took one run)...that was with a g-tech but seems about right since i was running 16 flat before...so the intense file should put me at 15 flat...maybe high 14s ...which means just a 100 shot should give me my low 13s ...possibly 12s if i go with a 120 shot...so thats the plan...i was definitely pleased with the results from the gears...and i especially wanted to hear from you because i knew you had a file from them...so thanks man [img]smile.gif[/img]

That would have to be some pretty killer tuning to take off .6 seconds.

thats what im hoping for..they told me to use their file as a starting point for my PCM...then i can adjust things even more as i please...but even if it only takes off half of that...it was still only $100...so i figured why not i'd give it a try [img]smile.gif[/img]
