Does anyone know if the dual cam 3.4 from the Z34 lumina and grand prix will fit in a 94 camaro? I am looking to rebuild or replace the original 3.4 and I don't want to drop in a LT1, and I like the idea of the dual overhead cam motor.

I'm pretty sure you'd run into the same prob as the 3.8's from the newer FWD GM stuff. Its a matter of an engine set up for FWD Vs RWD.
And its true that 3.4 in the Z34 was a maintainance nightmare.1997 Cayenne Red Metallic Camaro
3.8 V6 M5
SLP Cold Air Intake
Ceramic Coated Pacesetter Headers
Flowmaster American Thunder Catback
Full 3.42 & Disc Break Rear End Swap

LOL
the whole "its the worst motor ever" is found with every engine. you will always find one person or another that thinks that.
the biggest problem with the 3.4 DOHC - is that it wouldnt fit. it'd be too tall. im having issues with the 3100 stuff in my car, and im still using the stock 3.4L block and oil pan. i have 1/8th inch of clearance between the plenum and the underside of the cowl...not much space
so basically, i dont think the DOHC engine would work, as it would be as tall or maybe even taller (considering you cant use the RWD oil pan on it cause its got a bigger oil pump/pickup.)
if you want more detail on the dohc 3.4, go to www.60degreev6.com
