A cam would do you better than the rockers.

intense 3rd gen rockers are aluminum roller rockers. less valvetrain friction and less valvetrain mass. they reduce mass of the valvetrain by the weight of one piston. they also for sure come with reusable rocker bolts.

the iwins are not roller tip and they are pressed steel rather than aluminum.

the ls6 spring upgrade is not a joke. you will understand if you install the rokers with out upgrading the springs and feel valve float at 5500 rpm.

if you are doing it yourself but would rather not tear into the motor so far as to upgrade the cam then they do add SOTP horsepower. If you are paying to have it done then it might be a REAL expensive modification and maybe not worth the gains. If you plan on upgrading the cam in the future then don't get high lift rockers.

There's a bunch of threads on clubgp about problems people have been having with the intense rockers. Apparently the roller tip is eating into the side of the rocker, sending aluminum shavings into the engine.

I know a fix has been release, but I'm not sure how far it's been tested. Intense has become a fairly controversial company in the 3800 community, particularly in the GP world.

May want to go over to clubgp and do some research.

Less mass mainly just means more rpm for the valvetrain.

If you are on a stock limiter it doesn't mean much. Roller tip offers marginal gains.

The only increase in power would come from more lift, and again it seems marginal on stock heads.
