    I need torque specs for rod bolts, Main bearings top and sides thanks

    Rod bolts: 20 ft lbs + 50°

    Main bolt (top) sequence:
    Tighten to 52 ft lbs
    Loosen 360°
    Tighten to 15 ft lbs
    Tighten to 30 ft lbs
    +35°
    +35°
    +40°

    Side bolts: 11 ft lbs
    Matt
    1998 Mystic Teal Camaro M5

      On my main caps it says 40nM plus 130*. Yes, it says that right on the main caps.

        Those tourqe specs make no sense anyone else have specs

          torque them to 40nM(newton meters), plus 110 degrees, not 130* like I originally posted. They get extremely tight BTW.

            Are Main bolts reuseable? cause i just broke one in half while tourqeing

              No, they are torque to yield and shouldn't be reused.
