  • Want to do a up-grade on motor need info

    hey guys, question?

I have a cam I want to insatll, the thing is I have 143000 miles. I don't know about putting a up graded cam with old parts in the block, so I thought about getting a new stock block with some strong flat head piston and strong piston rings.
since I got the cam at home I can change the cam and put the new cam in the new block.

The question is, whats a good price for the block I'm looking for, or a place i can go check out?

I got a reman motor for 650 local that had all new berrings and new connecting rods and brand new piistons and rings the crank had like 40000 miles on it but those are tough. Good deal if you ask me. It also came with a stock cam and timing chain assembly. So all you would need to do is put the new cam in and you are running a new motor
