what cam should i get to upgrade my stock one ? and will i need a fuel system for it ? and also what will i need to have the cam installed ? how much would those parts cost thanks
I say get the crane cam 2-272-H kit with lifters. You don't need a fuel system for a cam.
You will need gaskets and and replace the lifters and new valve springs would be a good idea.
Just see what I have on my cardomain site for my 3.4L.
The cam and heads are page 1
& 2
It has part numbers and stuff too.

If you don't know, I would suggest you not even think about buying a cam. ;)
Do some searches here, read some books, and learn what they are and how they work. Then look into a cam based on your personal preference, rather than what someone on the internet says (not ragging on the previous posters ;) ).

Yea that too.
I have an older engine set up. I don't have any use for one with a timing tab.
I love my primitive chevy MPFI set up.
I think I will get a 3.4 short block from Ari engines, I think there engine-parts.com. I will Install the cam my self becasue the local mechanics are whining about installing a cam and building up a short block.
