• Anyone used a COMP Cam or ANY OTHER "Off the Self" Cam that is Readily Available?

What "Off the Shelf" Cams are available & are any of them worth the time, money and hassle? Do they make any "real" noticible power gains??? Anyone have any Dyno numbers?

    Thanks!

Your Tech list is not complete. Why are there no listins for the L32 3.4L?

tagen I think cause none of the mods have the 3.4 so they dont know the numbers on them. If you do get them to stefan or someone I am sure they would post them and if you have the specs on your cam give them those too

Advanced Tech: Rules & Guidelines, FAQ & Tech Info

That post has a little info.

If someone submits their cam specs, we will add it to the page. We will not do searches to find out the cam users.. So if you have an aftermarket cam, please reply to that post with your info and we'll add it to the page.

When I read the "list" of cams in the "board" encyclopedia & look up cam specs from different manufacturers, they look good.

But I am wondering from those who have changed cams if it made any "real" power increases???

Or does the cam swap just move the existing power band up, so all that is really happening is maybe picking up only a few horsepower but being able to rev higher. Do they get "doggie" on the low end driving around town but more power top end?

Anyone have any "before & after" cam swap Dyno numbers?

            Thanks!

I'll see if I can get the info together and send it in for the tech list.
