I have a 1995 f-bird that I swapped out the 3.4l for a 1995 3.8l. It is still hooked to a 1996 m5. Can i swap the PCM form my 1995 for a 1996 PCM? Mine is still looking for the auto tranny and wants to shift which is messing up the timing. Will this work or make things worse? Can my PCM be flashed so that it is no longer looking for the auto tranny? Basicaly can a PCM be reprogrammed from one for a auto to a manual tranny?
