• help..can't figure out cooling problem

I am having a bastard of a time with my baby. It keeps gettin hot, but I think I have tried everything to fix it. I have replaced the radiator, 160 thermostat, water pump, thermostat sensors, checked all hoses, and even tried to flush new radiator to use red line's water wetter. I really need help guys. My mechanic says that the actual gauge is off, but I know my car. It is, but it's not that off.
Thanks guys,
Kris

Have you checked your fan, it has a sensor that kicks it on at a certain temp, it could have gone bad. Turn your A/C or defroster on and let it run. The fan will run with these on if the motor isn't burnt up. Same thing happend to my 94, sensor went out so I rigged up a manual switch.

replaced the fan sensor too. the computer says everything is fine, but when I run it on the highway it gets HOT...,but if I leave the heat cranked it stays high as hell, but never reaches the red line. Also my heat and ac are all cracked out. could that be it. Like the ac will come on kind of cool, but as soon as the car warmes up so does the air. Its a big clusterF@#$. All ideas are realy realy apreciated.

are the flappers/doors in the directing air working right? any vaccum hose leaks? how about an air pocket in the cooling system? radiator could also be clogged, & a/c need charging.

Ok I see you got ground effects, did you remove your air dams from under your car for any reason? If you did,put them back on. That can be a big problem with iver heating.
I am not CRAZY just temporarily disturbed.

Ground Effects will do it. I had to build an extension piece on the air dam to get more air to scoop up on my wings west kit.

On the Flappers and air pockets I have no clue. the Radiator has like 3000 miles on it, so that's not it. How did you extent your air scoop, 94 3.4.
Thanks for your help guys I am way too stumped, and way too broke after replacing a bunch of crap that doesnt help.

What does the A/C and A/C ducting have to do with the cooling system? The only corrilation that I can think of is the electrical coorilation that makes the cooling fan come on when you switch it on.

Thank you guys for your continued input. I am not sure about the A/C stuff, but I know it doesn't run right. I even recharged it and it is no where near where it should be. I guess Im going to have to go get bent over at the dealership. I odn't want to deal with those pirates, but they are smart *** pirates, so here goes. Im gonna stop by there after school, so I will let you know the outcome. Feel free to keep posting though. thanx
