• Messing up INTENSE file?

i got another question about that PCM binary file i got from INTENSE...they raise the shift points to about 6000, the rev limiter to about 6200, and advance the timing 3* ...however...im gonna be spraying..so im setting the timing back to stock...if i do that and leave the shift points, rev limiters, AFR, etc. the way they are...is that going to mess with my car?? thanks

just save the intense file before you change the stuff, so in case it does mess other things up you have the original intense setup yet.

it depends alot on your stall, launch rpm, and desired AFR, and how much you are spraing jetting configuration, ect ect..

however.. what you do is take it to the dyno..

watch your histograms.. and only spray for a very short period of time.. and pull timing where you see knock on the histograms..

you could also do it on the street if you are carefull and use a wideband to confirm your air fuel..

pretty simple stuff.. jsut be carefull
