  • LS1 swap, need fuel rail help.

I know this site is not for the v8 cars, but i need help from a v6 who has done the conversion.

I want to put V6 fuel lines (with return) on my 1998 TA, and was going to use the 1997 vette rail with front mounted regulator.

Just wondering if there are any factory lines that will go from the hardlines, to the fuelrail.

    I have both a set from a V6 and a donor ls1 f-car.

    Thanks

    Ryan

I had to fabricate the purge line. I cut the fittings (and the test port) out of the stock lines, and put them in some fuel hose. Just nick the nylon with a knife and it peels right off the fittings.

I started with both sets of fuel lines too, split the tape on them, and pulled out the ones that seemed to be the closest fit. They still were not like I wanted them. They were up into the master cylinder, rubbing and in a bind.

Ended up just picking up some fuel injection hose and some quick connect fittings from Advance and made my own... I had done this with the blower setup before, when hooking up the fmu, and they held 80 psi of fuel pressure with no problem.
