  • What can i do to get rid of this knock problem i have

Anytime i am over 4000 rpms at WOT no matter what gear im in i get upto 5-6 degrees of knock. On stock settings on my maft+ i ussally only get about 1-2 degrees of KR but if i go anyhigher it looks like 5-6 degrees pf KR. I use to be able to run 4% lean and 6 degrees of Advanced timing. What could be causeing this. I would like to get it solved before or during the cam install. Is there like a LT4 knock modeule that will work in 2000 pcms. I am really lost. Here thanks

You are getting KR because of lack of fuel, bad fuel, bad plugs, or plugs are too hot.

Colder air is less prone to preignition.

What timing does the PCM report? What are your O2's?
