  • 111 LSA on N/A motor

Would this be a decent number... the specs are:
210/210 .507/.507 111LSA Zoomer told me this is an Ideal cam choice. Anyone running this or can tell me my car's characteristics and HP/TQ change after the swap? Thanks

I really find it hard to believe zoomer would say that is an ideal cam choice.

That thing will idle pretty roughly.. and isn't the greatest NA choice imho unless you have serious intake work done and zero exhaust work.

I concur exactly with Magnus. 111LS is gouing to be extremely choppy for a 6, ever hear one on an 8? The 210/210 isn't so bad, but there are better durations out there! Does he have a *reason* for specifying this cam for you? Has it been run with dyno sheets?

As long as you have your intakes ported, preferably his (Zooomer's) new ported intakes then that cam should work fine. You'll be spinning the motor high though, and it would be better if you had an M5 to street it. You'll probably have to drill your TB plate a bit to help the car idle.

How did you come to this conclusion?

pgriffith was mentioning that LSA's count less when there is less duration ...
            example illustrating numbers

220/220 at 112 LSA is a "lower / choppier" LSA

            than

200/200 at 112 LSA. If this confirms with you all, I might consider going 111 or 110 at 206/206 or so
