EDIT: STANG PICTURES: (not sure what's stock or what's best, YMMV) Note to self: Learn to weld. And, OH, it's an electric water pump, or something, wait, just different. And, damn, a turbo, a blower, different intakes ... really gotta learn to weld.

Started thinking about torque, and recalled some stuff. I know that for folks who are running the air horns right on top of the intake manifold (you know what I'm talking about), long horns make gobs of torque, short make more hp, and staggered makes for a smooth torque curve.
I'm recalling the custom intake plenum made by the guy with the V6 Stang with the green engine and the filer on tb, that 12Sec posted.
Are there any aftermarket intake manifolds that will produce more torque? OK, well, I can answer that on my own -- no ... just ported upper / lowers from SSM. If I could weld (if!), could I make a nice custom manifold like on the V6 Stang or would I be SOL on such custom work.
Looking for midrange torque, not drag racing HP.

(PS -- I know an LT1 makes gobs of torque, don't remind me)
edit: Yeah, I did a search. Funny thing is that I asked about P&Ping my intakes about a year ago, right here.
