Since the wiring harness is the same for 99-01, does that mean that a Jet Chip should work on these years the same? I was looking at their site and they have listed the same part number for 2000 and 2001 cars. What about the wire diagram for 2002, is it the same as 01?

Would anything else be different? I figure the timing and air/fuel ratios as well as the way that you alter those should all be the same right?

If you haven't seen or can't guess, yes, I'm trying to sell my Jet Chip. I've gone down to $130 for it shipped.

I don't know if it's compatible or not but I think Jet Chip would advertise it if it was. If they dont say anything about it's being compatible chances are it isn't.

Well easy answer there, why create a used market when you can make different part numbers for every year and make everybody buy new?

If they were going to do that they would have allready done it. That's basically what I'm saying: Same product- different name. If it was compatible they would have allready marketed it. Anyways, I would wait about 2 months. Hypertech is about to release an entirely new line of performance chips supposably for all years of f-bodies. They are suppose to be improved enough to warrent changing your current hypertech chip to the new one.

So does anybody know about any differences that would make a Jet Chip not work? It doesn't scan your VIN or anything. All it does is alter electronic signals to advance timing and change air/fuel ratios. If those wires are in the same place, I don't see how anything could be different.
