Is it worth getting a more aggressive cam if you don't port the heads or intake?? and if so what types of power gains would you expect?? ( that might be a stupid question)

VS cam without port. With port call comp cam and get a recommended grind based off mods. Roller rockers also kick *** .

The gains to be found in ported heads dont come from porting and polishing, just larger valves If you want more performance from heads, throw some bigger valves in them

You know valves aren't exactly bolt-in, right? They're on the underside of the head, not like the rockers which are *cough* only underneath the valve covers. So to just do valves you'd be pulling the entire valvetrain to get to your heads, and you'd need a boatload of gaskets and bolts. Might as well shoot for doing more than valves while you're under there, since you have the expense of all the gaskets / prep / lube / bolts already , which may be more than the darn valves alone.
