hehe I can tell the Ferrari fakes, I hve seen 2 of them, they are cool looking though.

I saw a fiero once with a 3.8L bonneville in it at the waterford show once.

Why would you want to get a 3.4 or 3.8 and put it in any other car? Isn't it more work then it is worth? I mean, if you have the time then go for it... But it just doesn't make sense to me.

Why? Because a fiero is a light, fast, mid-engine rear wheel drive car. As long as it isn't the stock enginge.

            3.8 is a great replacement. Esp a 3.8 w/ a supercharger, don't have to shoehorn it in like a v8.

We wouldn't do something like a ferarri fake. Both chop top fieros and the kits over at v-8 archie look very very nice.

and sgtmadman, your a real hoot

I never took my Fiero kit car to the track, but I did race a '92(L98)Corvette once...it was dead even, although he got half a car length jump on me before I knew I was in a race. But after that he couldn't widen the gap, neither could I close it.
Bear in mind, the Artero body kit on that car probably added a couple of hundred pounds to the weight.

The engine was a totally stock 225-hp L67 out of a 92 Bonneville SSEi (it was another year or two before they upped the horsepower to 240).
I think a Fiero with even an L36 would be a pretty quick little Mustang eater.
