  • What are our O2's suppose to be at

I went and autotaped and my ride the otherday to find out whats the deal with the knock retard. Well i was watchin my o2's and on stock settings on the maft and my o2's were around .830-.840 so i thought that was kinda low. so i increased the base setting to 5% rich and 2% at WOT and after doin that my o2's were at .900 and i wasn't getting any knock retard. so whats the deal

Your instincts are right. .88-.90 is good. .83 is a bit low.

My TA was freaking .93-.94 when I was at the track on halloween.

You had KR cause it was a bit too lean..

I recomend base settings of 0%... the PCM will learn out the base settings and adjust LT's... but by modifying a non-linear signal by a linear value of say 5% you increase error by a lot.. which is not good.

I run NA around .840'ish .850'ish. If I get KR I richen it up a little. I always run 93 octain too which is key.

Leave the settings at zero... if you get KR i'd say something is wrong...

Lean the WOT out to .880'ish.. if you get any KR.. start upping timing.. up to around 27'ish.. maybe lean it out another click.. if still no KR.. then up timing a click.. perhaps lean it out more...

          etc. etc.

Then do track testing to see what works best for HP... perahps .850 and 27 or .880 and 29.
