Yea I just wasnt fmailiar with the lift our cars can make. I know now i cant' use them both. I'm gonna get a cam. The GT cam looks good for a mild cam. Now I see that Texas Speed can do ECU repgrogramming by mailing in your ECU. So I'll more thatn likely do that no matter what cam i get. If I do this for sure then I'll probably get the G2 cam. Should be a nice gain of 35 less or more from it. Then get reprogramemd and maybe add another 20-30. However my question is still should I go ahead and get new springs, retainers, pushrods and shizzle from Comp. cams. Also will both cams work fine with the stock Torque convertor cuz I wont have the moeny for one of those just yet. So again let me know yoru thoughts.

think about how silly you would feel if you got in there, got all that crap pulled apart, put your old crappy valvetrain components back in there, and then something broke when you could have just done it RIGHT and replaced it while you were there.

do not use a stock convertor with the gt2. get at least a 3200. i am going up to a 3800stall. and yes you will need springs retainers and pushrods and lifters. i had my gt2 installed at texas speed and tuned.
