Ok first my car is a 95 Firebird 3.4L and I bought an LT1 out of a 96 Camaro which is OBDII. This website says that the 3.8 was the first v6 with OBDII meaning mine is an OBDI system. Heres where it gets confusing. I did this swap on my brothers 95 Camaro 3.4 only we used an LT1 out of a 93 Camaro which is OBDI. When we got the engine wiring harness hooked up the injectors wouldnt turn on. We concluded that his car must be an OBDII can and the engine is OBDI. We put the 93 camaro wiring harness in his 95 and the car started first time. My conclusion of this was that his car was OBDII. So my thinking is that my car is OBDII also and I wont need to swap the interior wiring harness on my LT1 because it is a 96. At this point I am confused so please help me. Thanks

his car was obd1,and 93-95 lt1 where obd1 too

If his car were OBD1 then why wouldnt the injectors turn on. If his was OBD1 then why did the injectors turn on when we put the LT1 OBD1 interior wiring harness in. It doesnt make sense that if both are OBD1 but only one wiring harness would trurn the injectors on. You didnt really answer my question because it still doesnt make sense. Someones gotta have an answer for me.
