Harlan off of LS1Tech makes a two step. I think it $130. do a search on google for harlan engineering

I'm pretty sure the stock PCM will support 8000 RPM. However, you can only spin the motor as high as the valvetrain will support. Our stock valvetrain is kinda crap. I wouldn't spin a stock valvetrain anywhere past the factory rev limiter.

and it not all about the vavle train... don't for get about the conecting rods high ROM is a big kill of the bottom ;) end too
