most people say that the stock injectors will get you up to 250-275 hp, but I can't confirm that.

There is some information in the tech database, under Specifications / Data / Part Numbers, Engine, (scroll down...), Formulas / Calculations. This would be the most precise way to calculate it.

A very rough approximation, is to take the injector size (there is disagreement whether that is 19.6 or 21 lbs/hr) * number of cylinders (6) to get total lbs/hr flow. Then double that for the hp. You can go a little higher but will start getting into excessive pulse widths (high duty cycle). You should at least be good up to around 250hp on stock injectors.

You can squeeze more than the rated flow, by bumping up the fuel pressure. (For instance, applying pressure to the vacuum port of the fuel pressure regulator, when running a dry nitrous kit.)

I put in Accel 24 lb injectors. They worked good up to a 130 hp shot of nitrous. Over that, I had problems with fuel pressure dropping. The injectors went static on me due to excessive duty cycle, stayed open, and the fuel pump couldn't keep up the pressure with the injectors full open constantly.

I was also calibrated a little too rich (which kept the injectors open longer), so I plan to run a little leaner in the future (via maft tuning).

I also plan to install a kenne-bell boost-a-pump to increase the fuel flow capability. (it's been sitting in the garage for 4 months now... I've lost the wiring directions for it...)

So the 24's for me were good up to 320-330 total, but that is with bumping the fuel pressure up so the injectors effectively flow more than 24.

According to this calculator stock injectors 22# should be good for 265HP NA.
