Traction Control...

I am not sure if this belongs in regular tech or advanced tech, but here goes:

My traction control is crazy. It will turn off on its own randomly (not even every day, just occasionaly). I also can no longer control it. I can press the button, but once it is on, it stays on. So when I want to be immature and swing around corners on dirt roads I can't! That isn't that big of a deal, I know better... However it would be nice to be able to control the traction control, like if it was raining or something. Anyone else ever have this happen? I already checked the button, it appears to be fine, however i did not want to splice it and force it to work either... Something odd happened the other day, I turned my car on and it didn't want to immmeditely start, when it did it kinda jumped then I had a slight scent of an electrical burn. I wonder if this is related because I did not have this problem before this happened I do not think.

check the wires, check the fuses, reset your pcm, all I can think of ;)

Nikon,

I noticed you did the same thing I did when you put the Camaro lettering above your radio in the center. Man, I hated the way it looked stock, and that just makes it look so much better.

he, lol ya I moved the switches to the left now, kinda like stock just fliped, I broke the snap in things for the foglight, so I had too :( ;) still looks good though ;)

Still haven't found the solution, but if this helps, when my headlights are on, the problem goes away. So only when my lights are off it "has a mind of it's own" - i have full control if the lights are on. What is a PCM?

Try replacing the switch sounds like that might be the problem because it works with the headlights on, so the only change is the addition of power to the switch for lights
