Hey, I don't have a Camaro, but my buddy does have a 1995 auto. I was wondering how easy it would be to swap out his L32 and put in the newer L36 that the later model Camaros are running. Will the engine mount up ok and will it mount to the stock trans that's already there (4L60E I believe, not sure on RWD trannies)?
I also know that we would prolly have to swap out the computer and wiring harness to match the newer engine. This would work to our advantage though because no one seems to tune '95 computers.
Also, on a side note, is the L36 3800 Series II used in the '96+ Camaros the same one that is used in FWD cars such as Grand Prixs and Monte Carlos?
