• What's the lowest oil preasure can be before I get scared?

Now after the cam is in when my car is idling around 700rpms the oil preasure will drop to like 45-50 on the dash gage. Is this ok? My mechanic seemed to think that maybe the lifters aren't decompressing enough because some of the rocker bolts might have come loss which I'm going to check soon but that's going to be a topic for a post in just a sec.

What oil are you running? 45-50psi is fine at idle... the cam tends to affect the pressure because it affects the idle speed consistancy. If you give it some throttle and it goes up to a normal level (past 60 a little bit) it should be fine
