how come now one has ever come on here and said that the HPP3 doesnt recognize 3.73s?
i was looking forward to an easy y/n reprogram

i also was unsure about the shift points. would increasing the mph to max help. especially since it doesnt recognise 3.73s!

how about putting in a diff tire ratio?

i called the HPP3 and they where no help.
6s.......under the hood or under the belt, they just dont cut it.

My friend has one on his '96 Chev Pickup, he can increase shift points, correct for speedo for gears or tire size and raise speed limiter, increase shift firmness and of course the power tuning. Thats about what it does.

What's your tire height? Set the HPP3 for 24" tire and it will fix the problem assuming your tire height right now is 26.1" or smaller.

Yep, he's right, you can always adjust it by fooling the tire height instead of gears, or a combination of both, to get the right speedo.

I thought it was supposed to work on 373s....
