well most of you know i havig tons of problems with the car due to me hooking the maft+ up wrong, everythnig is fine now, the maft+ is good tool if properly used. i friend my TPS sensor, i got a new one from napa for 50 bucks and the car is running a 100% again, i just want to state the this was my own fault and not the MAFT+ i don't want people to fear this product ;)

update....... i went to autozone and had the codes pulled.

      1. P0102.. mass air or volume low input
      2. p0122.. throttle position sensor low input..

what does this mean,, do i need to buy new sensors or is my comp going to hell..

I think your computer is a little confused, pull the fuses in the fuse box, wait about 20 mins turn your key to the on position, turn it back off and replace the fuses, that should reset your computer. Mine never would reset by disconnecting the battery cables

your computer doesnt know what to do with it hooked up again. it was use to the other settings and now you threw this in, which pissed it off. just reset and try again

I bet you plugged in the MAF T+ in bakcwards.. direcitons say very clearly in bold I think to make SURE the pink wires line up.

If you're lucky you just fried the fuse, otherwise you toasted your maf.

That is the cheapest that you are going to get a MAF sensor unless you get one from a boneyard, then you should get a good deal and I'd get a couple while you are there.

HUGE UPDATE.. ok i was doing so research and i think my maf sensor is fine, even though i'm getting the low input code.

i'm thinking it's my TPS which is causing all my problems.

let me explain how i installed the maft+ and you'll see why i think it's the tps senosr..well me being a bumass i plugged one end of the maft+cables into the maf sensor on the TB. i did line up the colors correctly, and the me being stupid and not thinking i plugged the other end in the TPS sensor and then when i started the car i fried the TPS SENSOR..
my car will hold a steady idle at 900 rpm and the o2's look good at wot.. the only problem i'm having is the the car is shifting at 3700 rpm and i can't hit overdrive. i know the tps is causing this car my car in an A4.

i ordered a new sensor for 50 bucks. it will be here tommorow. i'm going to install it and reset the pcm. i'm hoping this clears everything up..
