  • Ordered New Valvetrain Set Up Today

I ordered my cam and valvetrain today.

I got the GT2 Cam, ZZP Retainers, Comp. Cams #105 springs, Comp. Cams Hi-Tech Pushrods, and Comp. Cams OE Roller Lifters.

I can't wait to get it in the car. Do I really need a new stall/torque converter? I dont want to have to drive a car that doesnt stall til 2500-3000 rpms. I'd rather have a car that is tighter throughout the powerband rather than it feel like its slipping getting to stall. Atleast thats how I see it.

from what i have seen poeple post, you won't really notice a high stall there in everyday driving, maybe little loss in gas milage

you wont notice the stall after a week

i know a couple people that GAINED mpg with a converter as long as your not always ripping on it

I converter will help you launch and get you in your power band alot sonner
