I am very interested about this stroker project, and I agree with most everyone so far, I believe that it is better that both the shortblock and the do-it-yourself kit are availiable for the public. My plans currently purchasing the Intense race-ready block, but that could change if this stroker is successful.

Do both...no question about it. I will be choosing the expensive route myself....

i think offering the kit as a bottom end kit for people who are building to specific needs would be good. that way you can supply a kit with crank, rods, bearing, and a customers choice of pistons. that way the guys who are running n/a can grab 11:1 set ups and turbo guys can get 8.5:1 kits wihtout you having the aggrivation of keeping 500 different short blocks in stock.
i would suggest offering the short blocks as well. if you keep them between 9.5:1 and 10.25:1 you will have a block that will serve the larger market as well.
i think you would have 99% of the potential buyers covered with these 2 systems with out killing your self or your capital investment.

I'd say do both. The kits would appeal to the hotrodders who like to do their own builds, the shortblocks would appeal to the quick and easy or in hurry (just blew their motor) types.

I'm going to be due for a new bottom end in the next year and a half or so, so if you come out with these, I'd be willing to check it out.
